The English word “pet” means five, or number 5, in Serbian. Petn(a)est – let’s make a wild guess… Pet(a)nest means fifteen, or 15. Unfortunately, the number is far greater than 15, because they are so many animals in endless need of care and love. Worst of all, the suffering of these animals could be avoided and managed, if right measures and help could be put into motion. We plead to the habitants of Stara planina to open their hearts to our animals currently taken care of on solely voluntary basis, and we promise that the smallest help will be unexpectedly rewarded with pure love and stream of positive feedbacks that will arise.
